Job Summary

Goodgate Finance Limited is hiring a Relationship Manager to grow loan and deposit portfolios in Lekki, Lagos. The role requires a sales-focused banking or financial-services professional who can acquire customers, build lasting relationships, and meet agreed business targets.

Responsibilities

Acquire new customers for loan and deposit products through direct sales, referrals, and relationship-building activities.
Manage and grow a portfolio of loan and deposit customers in line with assigned targets.
Identify customer financial needs and recommend suitable loan and deposit solutions.
Follow up on leads, applications, documentation, and onboarding requirements promptly.
Maintain strong customer relationships and provide timely support throughout the customer lifecycle.
Monitor portfolio performance, support collections follow-up where required, and escalate potential risks.
Prepare accurate sales, pipeline, and customer activity reports for management.
Work with internal teams to ensure smooth processing and delivery of customer requests.

Requirements

3–5 years of relationship management, sales, or business development experience in banking or financial services.
Prior experience in the financial industry or a bank is required.
Demonstrated ability to sell loan and deposit products and achieve assigned targets.
Minimum HND or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship-management skills.
Ability to source leads, convert prospects, and maintain an active sales pipeline.
Working knowledge of loan documentation, deposit mobilization, and basic credit processes.
Ability to work onsite in Lekki, Lagos, from Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm.
