Job Summary

Winbert is seeking a Junior Event Technology Assistant to support the setup, operation and breakdown of audiovisual equipment for live events in Ikeja and surrounding areas. You will work with event production teams to deliver reliable LED screen, camera and technical event support on site.

Responsibilities

Assist with loading, setting up and packing down event technology equipment at live event venues.
Support LED screen assembly, connection checks and basic troubleshooting under supervision.
Handle and position cameras, tripods and related accessories for event coverage.
Assist with cabling, power distribution and equipment labelling while following safety procedures.
Support technical rehearsals, sound checks and live-event operations.
Monitor assigned equipment during events and promptly report faults or technical issues.
Maintain equipment inventory, storage areas and basic post-event documentation.

Requirements

0–2 years of experience in live event production, audiovisual support or a related technical role.
Practical familiarity with LED screen setup and camera handling.
Ability to work on site in Ikeja and surrounding areas.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends or public holidays when events require it.
Ability to lift, move and set up event equipment safely.
Good attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions.
Strong teamwork, communication and problem-solving skills.
Reliable, punctual and able to remain calm in a fast-paced live-event environment.
