Job Summary

Transsion Holdings is seeking a Business Development Manager to build and grow digital partnerships across Nigeria. The role focuses on identifying high-value opportunities in the Nigerian technology ecosystem, developing commercially viable partner relationships, and supporting the expansion of AI-enabled and digital service offerings.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with local mobile internet, technology, and digital service companies in Nigeria.
Identify and establish partnerships with key players across sectors such as fintech, e-commerce, ride-hailing, food delivery, telecommunications, travel, and other digital services.
Explore opportunities to integrate local digital services into the TEX AI ecosystem through API, Agent-to-Agent (A2A), MCP, or other relevant technologies.
Conduct market research to understand the Nigerian digital ecosystem, user needs, emerging technologies, and AI trends, and translate insights into actionable business opportunities.
Monitor competitors and industry developments to identify successful AI partnership models and recommend potential opportunities for the business.
Identify key stakeholders and decision-makers within target organizations, develop relationships with them, and drive partnerships from initial engagement through execution.
Work closely with Product, Technology, and other internal teams to translate partnership opportunities into actionable product and business solutions.
Prepare business proposals, presentations, partnership reports, and other materials to support business development activities.

Requirements

2–5 years of experience in Business Development, Partnerships, Product Management, Product Operations, Strategy, or a related field.
Candidates with a strong product, technology, or digital business background who are interested in transitioning into Business Development are encouraged to apply.
Strong interest in AI, emerging technologies, digital products, and the evolving technology ecosystem.
Smart, proactive, commercially minded, and able to identify and pursue new business opportunities independently.
Strong communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
Good understanding of the Nigerian technology and digital ecosystem, with the ability to identify potential partners and business opportunities.
Strong analytical and presentation skills, with proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and international teams.
Experience working with or partnering with technology, fintech, e-commerce, telecom, mobility, or other digital companies is an advantage.
