You applied for a role, your profile cleared the first screening stage, and now there is an assessment link in your inbox. This guide explains what Test Pillars measures and how to give your best performance on the day.
Test Pillars is Testamy's skills assessment stage. Depending on the role and the employer's preference, your assessment may cover one or several of the following pillars:
The modules are chosen to match the role you applied for, so the questions reflect what the work actually requires. Your score here is a verified signal of your ability, and employers tend to treat it that way.

The test is proctored from start to finish. Before you begin, you will be required to close all tabs on your computer, disconnect any extra monitors, and keep your camera and audio on. Your camera and on-screen activity are monitored throughout. If you attempt to cheat, the attempt will be flagged and the employer will be notified.
The test is in a multiple-choice questions format.
Each question gives you one chance. Once you submit an answer and move to the next question, you cannot go back to change it. Settle on your answer before you confirm it, then put that question out of your mind completely.
None of this should worry a candidate answering honestly. The monitoring exists so that your score means something. When the employer sees your result, they know it is genuinely yours, and that is exactly the credibility you want your score to carry.
