You have passed the assessment stage and received an invitation to interview with Tia, the Testamy AI Interviewer. This guide walks you through what to expect and how to give a performance that reflects your real ability.
Tia conducts structured video interviews on behalf of the hiring team.
You respond to role-specific questions on camera, and the platform evaluates your answers for clarity, substance, and consistency across the full interview. The hiring team then reviews your scored performance along with video highlights, and a human makes the final decision.
You choose when to interview.
Tia is available around the clock, so you can pick the time of day when you are sharpest and most relaxed to complete the interview. However, ensure you complete the interview before the link expires. The deadline will be clearly stated in your invitation email.
Prepare your stories. Structured interviews reward structured answers. For each major skill in the job description, prepare a short example that covers the situation, what you did, and what came of it. Focus on putting out clear answers that highlight what you did and results you achieved, how you achieved those results, and what techniques or tools you employed.
Practise saying these out loud rather than just thinking them through. Speaking an answer is a different skill from imagining one.
Do a technical rehearsal. Test your camera, microphone, and internet connection in advance. Record yourself answering one practice question on your phone and watch it back. Most people discover something small and fixable, like speaking too quickly or looking away from the camera.
Complete your mock interview. Your interview invitation link typically comes with a link for a mock interview. This mock helps you get first-hand experience of what the actual interview feels like. You should look out for this link and complete the mock before you take on the actual interview.

A few practical checks make a real difference:
Look into the lens, speak at a natural pace, and let your personality come through. TIA evaluates how clearly you communicate, and clear communication looks the same whether the interviewer is human or AI.
The interview is integrity-protected. Reading from a script or using AI tools to generate responses will be flagged, and a flagged interview ends your application. If one answer goes badly, let it go. The AI interviewer scores your consistency across the whole interview, and a single wobbly response rarely decides the outcome.
Your interview is scored automatically and passed to the hiring team with video highlights and a structured breakdown of your strengths. The next contact you receive will be about the outcome.
